May 30 marks the birth date of one of the greatest rappers of all time; Big L (R.I.P.). On that date this year, I decided to pay a visit to the mural dedicated to him.
Men’s Style Through the Artist’s Eyes is a 3 part series that explores works of artists that tap into the male sartorial subconscious either unintentionally, subliminally or overtly. The 3rd and last installment focuses on the works on Barkley L. Hendricks. All paintings are from the Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University.
Barkley L. Hendricks is in tune with his Birth of the Cool.
BIG P.S.A. I have officially launched my pocket square line this week. This is what has kept me busy the past few months. I’m really proud of how the first collection turned out and I’m already working hard on the second batch. Explore the site and stay tuned for more stuff.
Men’s Style Through the Artist’s Eyes is a 3 part series that explores works of artists that tap into the male sartorial subconscious either unintentionally, subliminally or overtly. This week, British-Born German artist Lucien Freud will be our subject of focus.
Lucien Freud is a man that deals on the psychological plane. His impastos are thick with layers that flesh out his subjects with a unsettling sense of vulnerability.

Some of the people that will be joining him:
